Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems
TRIP is holding a complimentary stakeholder workshop in Brussels on 9 March. Attendees will learn about the progress in C-ITS research and the implications for developing future transport systems. There will also be an opportunity to influence recommendations for future policy development.
This is the second workshop in TRIP’s series of stakeholder events that present emerging research summaries on a given thematic area. These workshops are designed to enable senior researchers and practitioners to discuss TRIP’s findings and reach conclusions that will help to influence transport policy across Europe.
"The C-ITS workshop is an important opportunity to influence future policy development in Europe. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and validate the findings of the TRIP C-ITS Analysis Report, and discuss future needs and prospects for C-ITS in Europe. It is a significant workshop for the European Commission"
Dimitrios Vartis, DG MOVE
The workshop will be held at the Sofitel Brussels Le Louise, 40 Avenue de la Toison d’Or, 1050 Brussels, Belgium. It will start at 10:00 Central European Time (CET) and finish at approximately 17:00 CET. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
