The Transport Research and Innovation Portal (TRIP) is a web-based service and provides updated information on transport research results in the form of Thematic Research Summaries and Policy Brochures. On the TRIP website an e-Service is made available in order to register for a regular electronic newsletter. This e-newsletter will keep readers informed about new items on the website and on key transport research events across Europe. The e-newsletters are sent out to all subscribers by e-mail on a regular basis. While registering your personal data will be collected and further processed for the purposes detailed hereafter under point 2.
Identification Data
The personal data collected from the e-newsletter subscription forms and further processed are: e-mail address, name, organisation name, organisation type, country.
The purpose of the processing of personal data for the e-Service is the subscription to an e-newsletter (electronic newsletter) released by the TRIP portal.
The access to all personal data is only granted through UserId/Password. The mailing list survey is managed by the authorised webmaster. The data are solely collected and further processed for the specific purposes laid down in this privacy statement and will not be used for any other purpose. The data will not be shared with third parties for direct marketing.
The TRIP website and the collected personal data is stored on a secure web server hosted by an Internet Service Provider. You personal information will never be published on the TRIP website or made available to third parities in any other way.
In case you want to verify which personal data is stored on your behalf, have it modified, corrected, or deleted, please write an e-mail message to the functional mailbox address mentioned hereafter under ‘Contact Information’, by explicitly specifying your request. Special attention is drawn to the consequences of a delete request, in which case any trace to be able to contact you will be lost.
Data is entered from registration forms and publicly available project information (project profiles, results summaries, final reports, etc.) and other reports submitted for addition to the website. The data is kept during the lifetime of the TRIP portal unless the subscriber requests that it is deleted or the data is found to be out of date or incorrect. There is no direct synchronisation between the database and the website. Web updates are published only after the approval of the project manager/EC technical officer.
