'Programmes' in the context of TRIP are activities which finance or promote transport research. They are differentiated by two categories: Funding Opportunities and Support Initiatives.

Funding Opportunities

'Funding Opportunities' contain all activities which provide funding for transport research at national, European or international level. Funding opportunities are further divided into two subcategories: Funding Programmes and Organisations active in research funding.

Support Initiatives

'Support Initiatives' cover national, European or international initiatives which bring transport research stakeholders together to support or promote transport research. These initiatives embrace platforms, project databases, information systems, networks of excellence and other.
