IERSET was a co-operative research institute created by companies and research centres to develop research and activities around one theme: communication systems and on-board systems for different means of transport.
In 2006, IERSET merged with an association called ADERMIP. The result is a new structure called AMPERE (Association for the Management of Research and Studies Projects). which does not focus on transport research but has a global approach by helping projects and organising partnerships into different sectors: health, transport, industry, etc.
In 2006, IERSET merged with the “Association for the Development of economic Research” (ADERMIP) to AMPERE (Association for the Management of Research and Studies Projects).
The objectives and missions of the IERSET were the following:
