Projects & Analysis

Our database features 6011 projects funded at European (FP4, FP5, FP6 and FP7) as well as national levels (covering all 30 countries from the European Research Area).

Projects have been collected according to the following information coverage:

• Short profile (represented by in results overviews) includes information on origin, programme funding, thematic transport categories and available point of contact.
• Profile (represented by in results overviews). In addition to the above, this features a more detailed project outline including background, objectives and methodology.
  
• Results (represented by in results overviews) provide information on key project outputs as well as technical and policy implications. Available final reports and other useful project deliverables may also be downloaded.

Project co-ordinators may provide additional information on their projects at any time - see Submit project info.

Transport themes

The considerable variety of transport projects necessitated structuring by subject area, to permit simple search facilities and appropriate policy analysis. Projects have been categorised according to a multi-dimensional thematic structure, divided into 5 areas (sector, geographic, modes, policy objectives and tools) resulting in 30 transport themes. Consult their definitions and browse through the list of associated projects.
